STRENGTH

The touching appearance of bearings is very likely to be worn and damaged under cyclic load, i.e. 
the emergence of cracking and peeling, which is an important damage situation of bearings. Therefore, the bearing steel must have a rather high touch-strain strength to lengthen the application life of the bearing in the future.

When the bearing works, the ring, the rolling body and the maintenance frame do not only undergo rolling friction but also experience sliding friction, which keeps wearing the parts of the bearing. The bearing steel should have great wear-resisting property so as to increase the wearing of bearing parts, maintain the stability of bearing accuracy and extend the application life.

HARDNESS

STRONG

Hardness is an important quality of bearing qualities, which has indirect effect on touch-strain strength, wear resistance and elastic limits. The hardness of some bearing steels has to reach HLC61 to 65 in application which enables the bearings to achieve high touch-strain strength and wear resistance.

In order to avoid the corrosion and rust of bearing parts and the finished products in processing, parking and applying, the high-quality bearing steels should have good rust resistance.

In the consumption process, the bearing parts have to experience many cold and hot processing procedures.Therefore, the bearing steels should have good processing performance so as to meet the requirements of small amount, high efficiency and high quality, such as cold and hot forming performance, machinability and hardenability, etc.
