INSTALLATION METHOD OF BEARINGS

  •  
    1.While installing the bearing, the force should be uniform. Do not hammer directly. For example, the bearings should be heated in the automatic-temperature-control air heated furnace or oil furnace and the heating temperature should be strictly set below 120°, so as to match up with the bigger interference. 
    2.The bearing assembled with nylon retainer can continuously and stably work under the temperature between -40°~ 120°. The bearing should not work more than 4 hours under the temperature of 150°. Its temporary temperature peak reaches to 180°.
    3.The bearing warehouse should be clean and dry. The bearing can’t be stored with chemical products. The relative humidity should not be higher than 65%. Also, the bearing should not be stored on the ground.

    1.The user should select suitable coordinate and the radial internal clearance of bearings. Please check the bearing’s identification code after unwrapping. 
    2.If necessary, the grease can be put into the bearing before installing. The grease should be clean and moderate.  
    3.Do not hammer the inner-ring surface, outer-ring surface and the roller while installing so as to avoid breaking the inner-ring or middle and small flanges. It is usual for the users to heat the bearing in mineral oil to 90°~100°and then to install the principal axis immediately. Never take local burning method on the bearing. When it is hard to take the heating installing method, please utilize the special socket to install. 
    4.Well sealing dust-proof device and lubrication are necessary while utilizing the bearing. Do not cut off the oil. 
    5.The warehouse for storing the bearing should be clean, dry and pollution free. The bearings can’t be stored on the ground. There should be no breakage in packing. The bearings that are stored in the warehouse for more than one year should be re-cleaned and oiled.

    1.While installing the bearing, please clean the oil seal on the bearing and grease the bearing with lubricating oil. 
    2.While installing the bearing, the force should be uniform. Do not hammer directly. In order to match up with the bigger interference, the bearings should be heated in the mineral oil to temperature 90~100°and immediately installed. 
    3.The bearing warehouse should be clean and dry. The relative humidity should not be higher than 65%. 
    4.The stored bearing should be rinsed every other year and the oil seal package should be complete. 
    5.There should be well sealing dust-proof device while utilizing the bearing. Frequent examination is necessary.

    1.This bearing is separated-type. Users can adjust the clearance on their own based on their requirements while installing. 
    2.Before utilizing, the bearing should be cleaned with petrol or coal oil and should be with good lubrication. 
    3.The bearing should be pressed into the parts, instead of hammered during installing. 
    4.The storing places of the bearing should be clean, ventilated and undamped. If the bearing should be stored for a long time, regular rust-proof is necessary.

DETECTING AND SHOOTING 

METHODS OF BEARING FAULTS

1.Oilbath smooth is the usual smooth method of the bearing. It is appropriate for the smooth of low and middle-speed bearings. Locally immerse the bearing in the oil groove, the gloss oil is stirred up by the rotating turbo pressurizing bearing parts.
2.It is proper to drip a drop of oil every 3 to 8 seconds. Too much oil will increase the temperature of the bearing. 
3.The bearing’s cycling oil smooth: The filtered oil is sent to the parts of the bearings with oil pump. The gloss oil passing through the bearing can be used after filtering and cooling. Since the cycling oil 0 takes some energy away and cools the bearing, this method is suitable for the turbo pressurizing bearing parts with high rotational speed. 
4.The bearing’s spray smooth: Mix the dry contractive air through sprayer with lubricating oil and make the oil spray. Within the radial bearing, the airstream can efficiently cool the bearing and avoid the invasion of the impuity. This method is suitable for the smooth of high-speed and low-temperature turbo pressurizing bearing parts. 
5.The bearing’s radial smooth: Utilize the oil pump to spray the low-pressure oil into the bearing through the sprayer. Then the sprayed oil can flow into the oil groove through the other end of the bearing. While the bearing is rotating at high speed, the rolling element and retainer are also rotating at high speed, which will lead to the airstream in the surrounding air, which makes it very hard to send the lubricating oil in the turbo pressurizing bearing with particular smooth method. Then the lubricating oil should be sprayed into the bearing with the method of low-pressure radiation. The location of the nozzle should be put at the center of the inner-ring and the retainer. 

THE DAMAGE OF BEARING

1.Peeling metal at the surface of raceway
Bearing’s rolling element, inner-ring and outer-ring’s raceway surfaces are all undergoing the action of periodic pulsating load, which leads to the touching stress with periodic changes. When the cycle-index of the stress reaches to a certain value, strain peeling will appear at the working face of rolling element or inner-ring and outer-ring raceway. If the load of the high-accuracy slewing bearing is too large, the strain will be aggravating. In addition, raceway peeling will appear when the bearing is installed slantingly and the axis is curving. The strain peeling of the bearing raceway will lower the operating accuracy of the axis and cause vibration and noise. 
 
2.Bearing burning
There will be temper color on the raceway and rolling element of the burnt high-accuracy slewing bearing. The burnt is usually attributed to lack of lubrication, the lubrication is of low-quality or degenerative, and the assembly of the bearing is too tight, etc. 
 
3.Plastic deformation
If uneven pits are found at the surface of the high-accuracy slewing bearing’s raceway and roller touching, the bearing should have undergone plastic deformation. Under the action of great static load or impulse load, the local stress at the surface of the high-accuracy slewing bearing is beyond the yield limit of the materials. Such circumstance often appears on the low-speed rotating bearing. 
 
4.Bearing race cracks The reasons why cracks appear on the bearing race are probably the coordinate of the high-accuracy slewing bearing is too tight, the outer-ring and inner-ring of the high-accuracy slewing bearing are loose, the bearing appears inclusive deformation, and the surface of the installed bearing is poorly manufactured, etc. 
5.Fragmentation of the retainer
The reasons might be lack of lubrication, the rolling element is broken and the race is deflective, etc. 
 
6.The reasons why the metal of the retainer adheres to the rolling element might be the rolling element is stuck in the retainer or lack of lubrication. 
 
7.The reasons why the raceway is severely worn might be there is impurity in the ring, lack of lubrication oil or the trademark of the lubrication oil is improper.
