A self-aligning ball bearing is a bearing equipped with spherical balls between the inner ring of two raceways and the outer ring of a spherical raceway.


The curvature center of the outer ring raceway surface is consistent with the center of the bearing, so it has the same centering function as automatic self-aligning ball bearings. When the shaft or casing is bent, it can be automatically adjusted without increasing the bearing burden. Self aligning roller bearings can withstand radial loads and axial loads in two directions. The radial load capacity is large, suitable for situations with heavy loads and impact loads. The inner diameter of the inner ring is a tapered hole bearing that can be installed directly. Alternatively, use a locking sleeve or disassembly cylinder to install it on the cylindrical shaft. The cage uses steel plate stamped cage, polyamide formed cage, and copper alloy car made cage.

In order to enhance the lubrication performance of the bearing, a circular oil groove and three oil holes are machined on the outer ring of the bearing.


It mainly bears radial loads and can also withstand smaller axial loads. The axial displacement of the shaft (shell) is limited within the clearance limit, with automatic centering performance, allowing normal operation under conditions where the relative inclination of the inner and outer parts is not significant. It is suitable for components where the coaxiality cannot be strictly guaranteed by the supporting seat hole.


The self-aligning ball bearings with dust covers and sealing rings are assembled with an appropriate amount of lubricating grease. They should not be heated or cleaned before installation, and do not need to be lubricated during use. They should be suitable for operating temperatures between -30 ℃ and+120 ℃. The main purpose of self-aligning ball bearings is to be used in precision instruments, low-noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles, and general machinery, and is the most widely used type of bearing in the mechanical industry.
