1. Design:

This bearing design is unique, combining the self-aligning ability of spherical roller bearings with the infinite axial displacement ability of cylindrical roller bearings. It can also 

have a smaller cross-sectional area, which is typically only present in needle roller bearings.

This type of bearing has a wide range of applications in radial loads. This bearing is specifically used as a non positioning end bearing, and its effect is very ideal because it 

combines self centering ability and axial displacement ability, opening up new ways to save space, reduce weight, and reduce production costs. By intentionally causing 

relative axial displacement of the inner and outer rings, it is possible to accurately set the radial internal clearance of the bearing.

2. Structure:

SKF ring roller bearings can achieve the same or better performance with smaller and lighter structures, such as in planetary gearboxes. They simplify the bearing layout on 

long shafts with significant temperature changes. When using this type of bearing, the vibration is also reduced, such as in paper machinery and ventilation fans. It is a single 

row bearing with long and slightly crowned symmetrical rollers. The bearing raceways of the inner and outer rings are concave and symmetrically distributed around the center 

of the bearing. Therefore, it can effectively combine the characteristics of the inner and outer raceways, which is conducive to load distribution of the bearings and reduces 

friction. The rollers in the bearing have self guidance, that is, regardless of whether the inner ring is axially displaced and/or misaligned relative to the outer ring, the rollers 

are always in a position where the load is evenly distributed over the length of the rollers. Its load capacity is extremely strong, even when it has to compensate for angular 

or axial displacement. In this way, the bearing layout is very reliable in operation and the service life is also extended.

3. Features:

SKF ring roller bearings are commonly used as non positioning end bearings in vibration situations. They are installed on the shaft in a press fit manner, eliminating the 

possibility of friction and corrosion caused by loose shaft clearance, and can also form a self aligning bearing system with excellent performance and reliability.

SKF ring roller bearings are manufactured according to the "SKF Explorer" performance level. SKF Explorer is a new performance level for rolling bearings, representing 

SKF's knowledge in application, combined with its expertise in tribology, material development, design, and manufacturing. The characteristic of SKF Explorer grade 

bearings is very pure and homogeneous steel with only a small amount of content.

In addition, all contact surfaces (rolling elements and raceways) of SKF ring roller bearings have been improved to enhance lubrication and reduce vibration and noise. 

As a result, smoother and cooler running bearings are produced, reducing the need for lubrication, and thus reducing the maintenance required for the bearing config

uration, including seals.
